Noah Lyles has disclosed one thing his followers dislike when it comes to competitions.
When it comes to pre-race stunts, there is no doubt that triple world champion Noah Lyles will always show up.
At the Paris Olympic Games, the reigning Olympic 100m champion did the most before the 200m final, something that he believes his haters dislike the most about him. He had learnt about his positive test for COVID and wanted to psyche himself up since the fatigue had already started kicking in.
In an interview with Katelyn Hutchison, Noah Lyles revealed that people do not understand that the stunts are a way to prepare him for the challenge psychologically and give him energy ahead of whatever race he would be competing in.

'She needed someone to match her personality' - American legend Michael Johnson praises Dennis Mitchell's role in unleashing Sha'Carri Richardson's potential
American sprint legend Michael Johnson has explained why Dennis Mitchell is the best coach to keep guiding Sha'Carri Richardson into unleashing his potential.
“It’s funny that you say that because a lot of people do cook me for that but I want people to think about how mentally energetic you have to put yourself in, you already have Covid, you are already sluggish, fatigue sets in randomly, and your chest gets tight,” Noah Lyles said.
“A lot of people are going to think that you are going to try and save your energy and well I tried to save my energy in the semifinal and it didn’t go well. In my head and my therapist also said that we have to hype the body up, so if it does get fatigued, you are already on a high level and you have to ride that high as long as possible.”
In the race, the three-time world 200m champion eventually won the bronze medal with Letsile Tebogo and Kenny Bednarek finishing first and second respectively. Noah Lyles was just fresh from winning the men’s 100m title.
After the Paris Olympic Games, Noah Lyles did not continue his track season but instead, grew his brand through media tours. He also proposed to his girlfriend Junelle Bromfield and elevated her to fiancée status.
The American sprinter also made a big move, purchasing his first home with Bromfield, and moving in together on top of other achievements.
