The Paris 2024 Olympic track and field team list has been released by the AFN, which is a blend of youth and experience.
The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) have released a formidable team list for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, spearheaded by hurdling queen Tobi Amusan.
Team Nigeria is scheduled to compete in nine events respectively in the men's and women's categories and the mixed 4x400m.

As expected, Amusan is listed in the women's 100mH event and will be gunning for her first Olympic medal. It'll be her third consecutive appearance at the Games, following her debut at Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2021.

Ackera Nugent and Masai Russell now favourites to challenge Tobi Amusan in Paris after posting world-leading times
The US and Jamaican Olympic Trials produced two world-leading performances as Ackera Nugent and Masai Russell blazed to record-breaking times and now stand as top favourites ahead of the Paris Olympic Games.
Also making a hattrick of return are Ese Brume (Long jump), Patience George (2016 and 2021), and Omolara Ogunmakinju (2012, 2016), while the rest of the team list will be making their Olympic debut in Paris.
In the relays, Nigeria qualified in four out of five events, which are: women's and men's 4x100m, men's 4x400m, and mixed 4x400m.
