Athletics Kenya has revealed that next year's Nairobi City Marathon will take place in July.
Athletics Kenya (AK) has set July 2025 as the date for the next Nairobi City Marathon after the conclsuion of this year's edition.
This year's marathon conluded last month with Eliud Magut clinching the men's race as Cynthia Jerotich emerged victorious in the women's category.
As per the Athletics Kenya 2025 calender, next year's Nairobi City marathon will take place on July 6.
The date was revealed as part of the events calendar meant for preparations leading up to World Athletics Championships in Tokyo 2025, dubbed 'The Road to Tokyo 2025'.

Athletics Kenya has released the calendar of events in preparation for Team Kenya's participation in next year's World Championships in Tokyo.
“There is no success where are there is no organization so I’d like to say kudos to AK. It is one organized federation and I am happy about the things we discussed with the CS in his office," said the Permanent Secretary for sports Peter Tum at the unveiling as per Athletics Kenya.
The great marathon will be preceded by Kenya National Championships and 10,000m trials for the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 2025.

The first event of the new calendar year is this Saturday’s Cross Country in Kericho, which will be followed by Run for Health and Fitness 10k Run in Eldoret on Sunday, September 6.
