Athletics Kenya has announced it will host the 1st Track and Field Weekend Meet of the 2024 season at the Thika Stadium, Thika on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th December 2023.
Unlike previous years, this season’s track and field activities have been brought forward to December this year to accommodate and allow for adequate preparations for African Games, scheduled for March 8-23 in Accra Ghana.
The event is open to all athletes willing to participate, with up to 19 categories to be held at the two day-event.

It is mandatory that all athletes participating at the event will personally have to collect their bib numbers on Thursday 14th December 2023 at Thika Stadium starting 9am to 6pm.
Any athlete who fails to collect their bib numbers on the date indicated above will not be allowed to compete.
