Noah Lyles sent a strong warning to his rivals to be scared as he gets better whenever he loses a race.

World's fastest man Noah Lyles is undisturbed by his loss to Oblique Seville at the Racers Grand Prix, instead has a strong warning to his rivals as he continues his preparations for the Paris Olympic Games.

The Jamaican sensation stormed to a new Personal Best (PB) and world-leading time of 9.82s for a memorable victory on homesoil, defeating Lyles, who clocked his second-fastest career time of 9.85s.

By doing this, Seville became the fastest Jamaican since Usain Bolt ran 9.81s to win the 100m final at the Rio 2016 Olympics, and the youngster has now become one of the favourites for a medal in Paris.

Despite Lyle's defeat, the six-time world champion said he was happy with the execution of his race and even sent a strong warning to his rivals that the loss had given him more confidence.

“It builds nothing but confidence, you know I’m seeing everyone in the world and you know me and Oblique are leading the world with leaps and bounds," said the American speedster.

“At this point, I’ll be walking into USA trials like y’all better put something on your chest before I pull off something. I went out there and did exactly what I was doing in the back and I felt like executed everything from the 40m mark.

"However, I have to get back to my old ways and ensure that I don’t try to chase the people and I ensure that I stay with them in the last 10m."

Speaking to Jamaica Observer, Lyles said every time he gets beaten, it only means he's going to get better the next time.

“I say it every year, when I get beat, y’all better be scared as shit, because next time you see me, you gone be ____ worried!”

The world 100m champion is currently the fastest American this season and has his goal on winning double sprint Olympic titles in Paris.
