Coach Reynaldo Walcott believes Sha'Carri Richardson's nationality is responsible for her recent buzz and influence on and off track.
Reynaldo Walcott, coach of Jamaican track queens Elaine Thompson-Herah and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, has given a strong opinion on the recent buzz of the world's fastest woman Sha'Carri Richardson.
Coach Walcott trained Fraser-Pryce to her fifth world title at the 2022 World Championships in Oregon and took the bold task of being Thompson-Herah's tutor to a possible historic three-peat of Olympic titles in Paris, didn't hold back words when talking about the American track star.
"I mean Sha'Carri, I think as a result of her being an American, because she won the world championships and she did it in very, very fast times - being an American, I think it creates a better platform for her visibility. And her personality helps add to that," said the young Jamaican coach.

'Elaine is hungry' - Coach Reynaldo Walcott reveals Thompson-Herah's day-to-day attitude in training ahead of Paris Olympics
For the first time, coach Reynaldo Walcott opened up on training Elaine Thompson-Herah and the attitude she shows everyday.
Richardson won the 100m title at the world championships in Budapest last year, blazing to a Championship Record of 10.65s, thus defeating Shericka Jackson and Fraser-Pryce in the process.
Since then, the 24-year-old has had so much buzz around her and currently tops the list of the world's most famous and influential athletics stars.
Aside from being a household name in the US, Richardson has done prestigious ambassadorial partnerships with Google and Andriod.
With her alleged $20,000,000 contract renewal with Nike after winning the world title last year, she has gone on to be a leading figure in several campaigns for the shoe brand - highlighted by being the face of the Nike x Jacquemus collaboration of their swoosh fashion collection release and appearing in the Nike Air Max Dn ad alongside global stars Drake, Erling Haaland, and Billie Eilish.

Nike Air Max Dn: Sha'Carri Richardson features in new SPEED AD alongside Drake, Erling Haaland, and Billie Eilish
Sha'Carri Richardson is in a new Nike Air Max Dn Ad featuring some of the world's best stars in Drake, Erling Haaland, and Billie Eilish.
Coach Walcott's sentiments can be understood, considering Richardson with just one individual world gold medal has all these privileges in a year, while Fraser-Pryce and Thompson-Herah, with multiple world and Olympic titles, don't get this buzz or visibility from their shoe sponsors in Nike and Puma.
