Double World champion Sha’Carri Richardson has admitted that American singer, songwriter, and businesswoman Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has paved the way for greatness in Texas and she feels obliged to follow in her footsteps.
The American singer, also born in Texas, in a city called Houston, and she has been able to cement herself in the music industry and make a name for Texas.

Olympic qualification headache for Kenyan athletes following stadium closure
The closure of Nyayo and Kasarani stadiums is set to also bite Kenyan athletes as they will have to look for alterative venues out of the country to attain Olympic qualification times.
“And I just want to keep that motivation going for me to put on for Dallas, Texas, going into the world, going into the summer for the [Olympic] Games. I just want to continue to show that big things come out of Texas,” she said.
The 24-year-old has already started making big moves following her victory at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
The Dallas native was featured as the face of Nike's new fashion collaboration with the French brand "JACQUEMUS." The "JACQUEMUS x Nike" collection was announced last week with photos of Richardson modeling different pieces of the fashion line, including a handbag inspired by Nike's iconic "Swoosh" logo.
She was also later featured in the new Nike Air Max Dn advertisement alongside other big names including Drake, Billie Eilish, and Erling Haaland.
