The family of the Kenyan athlete will now end their two-month ordeal having struggled to return the remains of their kin home for burial since his tragic death in Mexico last December.
The body of retired Kenyan athlete Josephat Kibet Ngetich, who died in Mexico while trying to rescue an employer’s dog, has finally been returned to the country.
Ngetich drowned in December last year when he tried to rescue an employer’s dog that had plunged into a dam head-fast but his family had been unable to raise enough money to return his body home for burial.
