Kenya’s Brigid Kosgei is keen to redeem herself at the London Marathon after an early dropout last year.
Former world marathon record holder Brigid Kosgei is poised for a determined comeback at the London Marathon this Sunday.
Following her sudden withdrawal from the race last year just minutes after the start, Kosgei has expressed her readiness for redemption.
"Last year, I wasn’t well but this year I’ve come ready to race well again. I’ve prepared well in Kenya and I’ll be ready to do my best on Sunday. I’m happy to be here again," Kosgei remarked, reflecting on her challenging experience in 2023 when she had to drop out early due to physical difficulties.
