World's fastest women Elaine Thompson-Herah and Sha'Carri Richardson have now signed ambassadorial deals with top luxurious fashion brands ahead of the Paris Olympic Games.
Double Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah has joined her American rival Sha'Carri Richardson in signing with a top fashion house after bagging an ambassadorial deal with Christian Dior ahead of the Paris Olympic Games.
Thompson-Herah is one of 15 female athletes named ambassadors for the French brand and becomes the first Jamaican sprinter to lead a campaign for a major luxury fashion house - reference to Richardson's partnership with Nike x Jacquemus collaboration.
The deal marks her first partnership with a global fashion house, having signed with Puma and FLOW. She is also the only Caribbean athlete to make the list.
Other ambassadors of the Christian Dior team are US soccer star Alex Morgan, Hawaiian surfer Carissa Moore, swimmer Emma McKeon, and Japanese fencer Misaki Emura.
A series of portraits of the newly-minted ambassadors will be displayed at Le Café Dior in La Galerie Dior at the brand’s historic flagship in Paris from July 24 to September 9.
