Eliud Kipchoge has revealed his true feelings as he intends to write history at Paris 2024 Olympics.
Defending champion Eliud Kipchoge has admitted to feeling some chills ahead of toeing the starting line one more time for his fifth Olympic Games in Paris, France.
Kipchoge made his Olympic debut at the 2004 Games in Athens where he bagged a bronze medal before winning a silver at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, competing in the 5000m in both events.
The 39-year-old then made his first appearance in the Olympic marathon, winning the race in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games before defending his title at the delayed 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games. He now eyes his third Olympic title with the aim of making history as the first man to win three Olympic titles over the distance.

Daniel Simiu pleads with Athletics Kenya to include him in the men's 10,000m team to Paris
Daniel Simiu pleads with Athletics Kenya to consider him the third athlete for the men's 10,000m team to the Paris 2024 Olympics.
He went down memory lane to when he made his Olympic debut in 2004 after living with that Olympic dream for years.
“I want to appreciate the first Olympians…those who were there 60 years ago. Everyone is molded by their environment and their participation in the Olympic Games years ago is what has made Kenya to be a country of sport, above all athletics.
“I remember the year 2000 where we were watching Olympics and then four years down the line, I was there starting in the 5000m,” the five-time Berlin Marathon champion said.
