Hellen Obiri and Faith Kipyegon have been honoured by World Athletics after joining their museum.
Double world champion Faith Kipyegon and reigning Boston Marathon winner Hellen Obiri are among the athletes who have yet again been honoured by World Athletics.
The duo join thousands of athletes to be inducted into the Museum of World Athletics (MOWA), a 3D fully virtual museum of athletics, showcasing the history of athletics, and highlighting numerous legends of the sport.

Obiri’s singlet and name bib that she wore during the Boston Marathon will be entering MOWA while Kipyegon’s spikes that she wore while winning the 1500m and 5000m races at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary will enter the museum.

Double Olympic champion and world record holder Faith Kipyegon received Kenya's top civilian award on Tuesday, entitling her to various honors and benefits.
Bence Halasz’s throwing glove that he wore during the World Championships in Budapest to bag a bronze medal in the Hammer throw will also be inducted.
Grant Holloway’s singlet, bib number, spike, and right shoe that he wore to win the 110mH at the Hungarian capital will also make the cut to MOWA. Joe Kovacs's singlet and bib number that he used to win a bronze at the 2023 World Championships shot put also made the cut.
