Ferdinand Omanyala was buzzing as he flew business class courtesy of his sponsors ahead of this weekend's World Indoor Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.
Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala will be in action at the World Indoor Championships scheduled for March 1 to 3 in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
As he flew out of the country, Omanyala shared a photo of himself on his X (Twitter) handle enjoying VIP treatment courtesy of Visa.
He expressed gratitude to Visa for making his trip to the United Kingdom comfortable in the business class and promised to post great results.

Meanwhile, Omanyala will be up against very formidable opponents but he has all it takes to make history on the global stage. The Commonwealth Games champion has enjoyed a great season so far, winning two of the indoor races he was competing in.
He started off with a win at the Elite Indoor Track Meeting in Miramas where he clocked 6.52, which a new meet record in the Miramas meet, a World Athletics Silver Label Indoor race.
He lowered the earlier meet record of 6.57 and was fractions close to the world lead, which is 6.48. Omanyala then proceeded to the Meeting in Paris, clocking 6.51 to win the race.
As he heads to the World Indoor Championships, the African champion has his priority set. His coach Geoffrey Kimani, speaking to Sport On, said: “Before he ran for the indoor season, I told him, ‘You are in 6.48, 6.50, so we are already at 6.51, so we have a target goal to get to the final of the world championship, and he knows what that target is.”
