Africa's fastest man is not resting on his laurels and is utilising his off-season very well.

Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala is just getting started with his off-season plans as he looks to keep fans entertained on all fronts.

From recording a gospel song in the studio to hosting his inaugural tennis tournament and now he is set to feature in a documentary produced by Jumpers World, an agency that specialises in sports and social media marketing with exceptional expertise in creating unique, viral, and eye-catching content.

In a glimpse of a video he posted on his social media handles, Omanyala said: “My name is Ferdinand Omanyala…the first time I watched athletics was in 2004.

"Nobody could have ever thought that a Kenyan would be among the fastest eight guys in the world. I’m really proud of the achievements I’ve had over the years…”

He captioned the post saying the video will be out on Saturday, October 7 at 4:00 PM East African Time (EAT).

The 27-year-old has had a mixed season, bagging wins and also having a fair share of disappointing losses but he is keeping himself busy during his off-season.

He has managed to make history by becoming the first Kenyan to win a Diamond League Meeting in the 100m, having claimed victory at the Meeting in Monaco.

He also became the first Kenyan to reach the final of the 100m at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. However, one of his low moments came when he did not finish in the podium bracket at the event, having been a pre-race favourite.

However, the Commonwealth Games champion has promised a better outing next year during the Olympic Games happening in Paris, France.
