Her closest challenger, Ethiopia's Diribe Welteji finished second in a Personal Best time of 3:53.93 as Great Britain's Laura Muir completed the podium in 3:55.16.
Kipyegon has had a stellar season so far, setting three world records within three months and winning a double at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
She set the 1500m world record at the Diamond League Meeting in Florence, Italy before stunning the world with another world record in the 5000m at the Meeting in Paris, France.
