Kipyegon is fresh from winning the Meeting in Florence and she will be hoping to maintain the same momentum when she lines up for the 5000m.
Newly-crowned world 1500m record holder Faith Kipyegon and Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala will be in action at the Diamond League Meeting in Paris tonight, Friday, June 9 at the Charléty Stadium.
Kipyegon is fresh from winning the Meeting in Florence and she will be hoping to maintain the same momentum when she lines up for the 5000m. She has not lost any race since the season started but the 5000m will prove challenging since she has not raced in the 25-lap race since 2015.
