African Championships: Ta Lou-Smith, Ofili, and Bass-Bittaye cruise into 100m semifinals with fastest times
Marie-Josee Ta Lou-Smith, Favour Ofili, and Gina Bass-Bittaye cruised to the 100m semifinals at the African Championships in Cameroon.
"You do warm up, you stay 1 hour to be called, we know that time is money in athletics. You can't do warm-up sit and then be called," added Tebogo.
The speedster said he's looking ahead to the Olympics and can't afford to get injured if the organisation doesn't improve.
"That's why I didn't even run because I'm looking at the Olympics, I'm not looking at the African Games. They should at least, I don't know if it's to call the association president to come out and help the athletes. That's all.
"The semifinal I'm gonna run but maybe I won't run the final if the same thing happens today," he concluded.
Tebogo was initially listed to compete in the sprint events, but after opting out in the heats of the 100m, his focus will be on the 200m if he finally decides to run.
