She revealed that around her therapist, she has the liberty to be herself and all the burdens she has faced tend to go away. Through therapy, she has also learnt the art of choosing people who choose her and focusing on growing her relationships.
“I feel like therapy came from knowing that I needed it, and also being able to have a safe place to decompress, when I don’t have to worry about the world, or being an athlete, or being a friend, or being a daughter or anything. I could go into therapy and just be me,” she revealed.

'I was overweight & struggling mentally'- When Shericka Jackson opened up about her self-doubt & rising above the challenges
Shericka Jackson spoke about the moment she had self doubt and how she managed to overcome the issues.
“I feel like being with people who pour into me has shown me I’m everything that I know that I want to give out to the world and I know I’m everything that I feel in myself. There was a time I felt stuck, and now I feel like I love the softness and femininity that I’m able to walk in.”
On his part, Noah Lyles has always been big on therapy and he even influenced his fiancée Junelle Bromfield to try it after she went through a series of losses in her life.
In a past interview, triple world champion Noah Lyles urged people to seek professional health if they are going through a hard time.
“I knew there were a lot of people out there like me who were scared to say something or to even start that journey. I want you to know that it’s OK to not feel good, and you can go out and talk to somebody professionally, or even get on medication because this is a serious issue and you don’t want to wake up one day and just think, you know, ‘I don’t want to be here anymore',” Lyles said.
Junelle Bromfield also revealed that it was because of Noah Lyles that she started therapy. She admitted that it has helped her cope with the challenges she has faced.
"I started therapy like two years ago because my boyfriend is big on therapy and he felt as if I needed it too. And, honestly, it has helped a lot because I feel as if I've been suffering with survival guilt and it was laying on my shoulders,” Junelle Bromfield said.
