Sha'Carri Richardson's post-race interview revealed how she overcame her wobbly start at the US Olympic Trials and manages the fame of being the current most recognised track star.

Sha'Carri Richardson blazed to a brilliant 10.88s to win her 100m heat at the USATF Olympic Trials, which she achieved in style in the most unbelievable circumstances.

The world's fastest woman gave a huge scare when she stumbled at the start and almost ran into the runner beside her, but she regrouped nicely to run down the field and even slowed down before the finish line to win in a blistering 10.88s.

Tamari Davis with a perfect start and execution, settled for the second position in 11.01s, while Tamara Clark was third in 11.05s.

Following her victory, the track star was seen immediately tying her shoelace, which showed she ran all through without one of her spike shoes being perfectly tied.

Reacting after the race, Richardson talked about her poor start and still being able to see it through.

"Looking back I definitely didn't have the start that I've been training to have in this moment, but still not panicking, staying patient, and knowing that no matter what's going on to continue to run my race," she said.

The defending US 100m champion also spoke on her blistering 10.88s and what it means to achieve that despite a poor race execution.

"It just tells me I'm prepared, and I just need to put it all together."

Finally, when asked about how she's managing her star status which has risen so much in the past year, Richardson revealed it proves the world is appreciating her hard work.

"I would definitely say I'm enjoying just the recognition of hard work, the support that comes with it, and just understanding how different and in tune with myself, that is unbelievable.

"And the fact that the world can see it, so much work I've done on myself, for myself, and the world receives that, I'm appreciative and I will always show up for my fans," she concluded.

Richardson will be gunning to avoid another scare in the semifinals and lower her time to make the final, where she will give everything it takes to make the US Olympic team to Paris.
