Noah Lyles' fiancée Junelle Bromfield has reflected on something she will never fully move past.

Losing a parent has to be one of the most painful things and Noah Lyles’ fiancée Junelle Bromfield is a victim.

The two-time Olympian was raised by a single parent, her mother, Sandra, who died in 2021 and she has admitted in several interviews that she learnt how to live with that grief.

Two years before her mother’s death, Junelle Bromfield had also lost one of her brothers. She also lost another brother of hers in 2023. In a recent reply to a fan, she disclosed one thing that keeps her going is knowing that her mother is watching up from above.

Bromfield had shared a video giving her fans an update on how the Christmas decorations were taking shape. In the video, she was putting up curtains for her master bedroom in the new house she moved into with Noah Lyles.

In one of the comments, a fan urged her to keep going since her mother was proud of the milestones she was making. In the comments, the fan said: “Junelle, your mom is in heaven cheering you on…your mom is so proud. Junelle continue to do well.”

In reply, Junelle Bromfield said: “I’m always happy to hear this. Thank you, I appreciate reading this.”

The statement from the fan touched Junelle Bromfield since in a previous interview, she had opened up about how her mother was her greatest cheerleader when she was still alive.

Bromfield revealed that her mother would be the only one who would go for her track events and she ventured into track and field to salvage her family. She admitted that growing up dirt poor made her appreciate how great her mother did.

“She was the only person who showed up to my track meets and everything like…I feel as if the main reason why I did track was not just for me and not to get myself out of my situation but also to take her out of the situation because she had eight kids,” Junelle Bromfield said.

“She was a single mother and as I always said, I never knew we were poor until I started living a different life. That’s how great she did…I was not missing school because she was that person who wasn’t afraid to ask for help.

“I got help all my life because of her and then it was the Olympic year and we had big plans and everything and I thought that was my best training year and then in a blink of an eye she was not there.”
