The reactions after Tobi Amusan's doping-violations clearance by the CAS has got Nigerians in ecstasy as their hurdling queen can now fully focus on the Paris Olympic Games.
Following the breaking news of Tobi Amusan being cleared by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) of any doping violations, Nigerians have taken to social media to express their excitement that their hurdling queen is now free to compete with ease and at the Paris Olympic Games.
Amusan's case with the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) and World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) began when it was released the 100m Hurdles World Record (WR holder had been provisionally suspended for committing an anti-doping violation rule of missing three whereabouts tests.

She will later claim her innocence and take the case to the Disciplinary Tribunal, where she was cleared of such offense and permitted to continue running.
However, the World Athletics and WADA will later challenge this decision of the Disciplinary Tribunal and make it known they'll be taking the case to the CAS.

AIU responds to Tobi Amusan's clearance by disciplinary tribunal.
With the CAS set to be the final decision maker and the hearing fixed for January 19, 2024, the result of the hearing released dismissed the appeals filed by the World Athletics and WADA, confirming the decision made by the Disciplinary Tribunal last August that Amusan did not commit any anti-doping offenses.
In a damning verdict, the CAS panel unanimously concluded that while Amusan had committed two filing failures, they did not find evidence to support the alleged third whereabouts failure that would have resulted in a two-year ban.
