"HONEYMOON +ANNIVERSARY+BIRTHDAY

Thanks to @trip_k_tion who help us find the best place in Maldives for this trip.

@sangelimaldives thanks for having us 🙏🏿"

Ta Lou-Smith and her husband had an Afro-Caribbean grand civil wedding - the most talked about lifestyle content post-2023 athletics season. They had been dating for some years before finally sealing their longtime commitment last year.

The 36-year-old had a heartbreaking outing at the Paris Olympic Games, where she pulled up injured in the women's 100m final and missed out on winning the Diamond League trophy in Brussels. However, she bounced back to winning ways at the Athlos Track Meet to end her season on a high.

With the 2025 season perhaps being her last year on the track, the fastest woman in African history will be gunning to make it memorable by getting a deserved medal at the World Championships in Tokyo.
