Irish track star Rhasidat Adeleke is scheduled to face her toughest 200m test this season when she races against formidable sprinters Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Gabby Thomas at the LA Grand Prix.
Adeleke had an exceptional performance at the World Relays in the Bahamas by playing vital roles in the qualification of the Irish mixed 4x400m and women's 4x400m teams to qualify for the Paris Olympic Games, will gun to produce another impeccable performance against the top sprinters.
Thomas is the fastest amongst the trio with a Season's Best (SB) of 22.08s and will be aiming to extend her winning streak at the meet. Also, McLaughlin-Levrone has an SB of 22.38s and can as well lower it against the duo as a current World Record holder.
Meanwhile, Abby Steiner will be the underdog as the former NCAA standout athlete seeks a famous win to bounce back into recognition as one of the world's best sprinters.
