Fraser-Pryce attained several iconic feats throughout the season, which has seen many call her the greatest female sprinter of all time.
Fraser-Pryce iconic 2022 season
She became a five-time 100m World Champion at the World Championships in Oregon. Her victory came almost fourteen years after her first global 100m title, making her the oldest-ever World Champion in any individual track event. Then won 200m and 4x100m silver medals, ending with three medals at the championships.
In addition, Fraser-Pryce surpassed the 10.70s mark seven times throughout last year (three more than the previous best for a female sprinter in a calendar year), and one of those performances – her 10.67s in Oregon.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has assured she'll be running a fast time at the Kip Keino Classic in Kenya this weekend.
She capped her season at the Diamond League final in Zurich, winning her fourth 100m Diamond Trophy in a Meeting Record (MR) of 10.65s.
In her 15th season of international racing, the 35-year-old sprint star continued to blaze a trail, proving the maxim that ‘wine gets better with age’, and is now hailed as the world’s greatest ever women’s sprinter.
