World 800m champion Mary Moraa has requested advice from her fans ahead of the All Africa Games national trials scheduled for Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 March at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Moraa was among the invited athletes for the continental showpiece and she has expressed interest in winning a medal at the event.

The Commonwealth Games 800m champion opened her season at the third Athletics Kenya weekend meet at the Nyayo National Stadium. Moraa competed in the 400m race where won both in the heats and the final.
She is now gearing up for the Olympic Games, the ultimate event in the 2024 season, set to be held in Paris, France.

Moraa has already expressed interest in attacking the long-standing world record and she might just do the wonders this year. The world record was set by Jarmila Kratochvílová at the Olympiapark Meeting in Munich’s Olympic Stadium on July 26, 1983.
She set both the 800m world record in 1:54.68 and the 400m world record in 47.99, although the latter was beaten two years later by her great rival, Marita Koch of East Germany, who ran a time of 47.60 in Australia which still stands as the fastest mark in history.
