Olympic 400m silver medallist Matthew Hudson-Smith has brushed off Quincy Hall as he shared the athletes he would love to race against in the men's 300m.
Olympic 400m silver medallist Matthew Hudson-Smith has snubbed Quincy Hall as he selected other U.S. opponents to challenge him in a 300m race.
Hall won the gold medal in the men’s 400m at the Paris Olympic Games and would be a right fit to challenge Hudson-Smith but he preferred to select other challengers, noting that it will be a U.S. vs Great Britain race.

LIST: 10 all-time best 100m runners in the world
The list of the top 100m runners includes some of the most decorated sprinters including Usain Bolt, Ferdinand Omanyala and Fred Kerley but Noah Lyles does not make the list.
The Briton noted that he prefers having the 400m hurdles Olympic champion Rai Benjamin, Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles and bronze medallist Fred Kerley. He added that having Letsile Tebogo in the mix is a plus since the Botswanan youngster is the world record holder over the distance.

“Yeah, I’m smoked. Hey, listen, Zharnel is going to get smoked but I want to change it now. I want to do a USA vs Great Britain. So, if anyone’s down for that, I know Fred said he is on it so, I just want to get a British record on the smokes that I know,” Hudson-Smith told the Inside Lane.
“So let’s say, Fred, Noah Lyles, Jai Benjamin and anybody else, you know what I mean. Let’s see USA vs Great Britain and then maybe put Tebogo in there because he is the world record holder as well. You know he’ll bring us a show as well,” he added.
He explained that such a race is high profile and investors will need to put in a lot of money. Hudson-Smith added that he prefers racing in Birmingham but it will be up to the investor or investors to select a suitable venue for the race.
“Let’s make some money man, let’s make some money. Obviously, I’m on Birmingham but whoever is going to pay will select. That’s a world-record race right there,” he added.
