World 10,000m bronze medallist Margaret Chelimo sealed the podium in 8:26.14.
World Cross Country and Commonwealth Games champion Beatrice Chebet obliterated a strong field to win the women's 3000m race at the Diamond League Meeting in Oslo, Norway on Thursday night.
The 23-year-old oozed class as she cut the tape in a world-leading and meet record time of 8:25.01 ahead of Lilian Kasait who clocked a new Personal Best of 8:25.90.

Chebet opened her track season with a dominant win during the Kip Keino Classic, a World Athletics Continental Tour Gold-level meeting.
World 10,000m bronze medallist Margaret Chelimo sealed the podium in 8:26.14. Kipkemboi's third-place finish is an improvement from her sixth-place finish at the Diamond League Meeting in Paris, France where she competed in the 5000m. She also finished second during the Kip Keino Classic.
As for Kasait, the 3000m race is also her first this season after finishing fourth in both the Diamond League Meeting in Paris and the Kip Keino Classic in the 5000m.
Chebet was making her first appearance in the Diamond League Meeting since the season started and the race was her first 3000m of her season. She has proved to be in impeccable form and she might pull off a surprise at the World Championships scheduled for August 19 to 27.
She opened her season with a dominant win in the senior women's race at the World Cross-country Championships in Bathurst, Australia. She then returned to the country for the Kip Keino Classic where she upset big wigs to take top honours in the 5000m race.
In a post-race interview, she expressed her excitement about winning the race and added that she has achieved her goal, which was to attain a new Personal Best time.

She has been confirmed for the Diamond League Meetings in Oslo, Silesia, and London before heading over to the World Championships from August 19 to 27.
An elated Chebet said: "First of all, I want to thank God and secondly, I am very thankful because I managed to run my PB and I can see my progress. My goal is to go to the World Championships and bring a medal to my country...that is my main target now."
