Moraa was disappointed last year when South Africa’s Prudence Sekgodiso beat her to victory in a world lead time of 1:58.41, having looked like she was destined to win at the Kasarani Stadium.

Fraser-Pryce promises fast time at Kip Keino Classic in Kenya
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has assured she'll be running a fast time at the Kip Keino Classic in Kenya this weekend.
“Last year, I was not aware of Prudence, it was like a surprise to me. I just saw her vanish but this time round, I’m well prepared. My body is responding well. It is like a revenge mission. I cannot allow it to happen again. I will not let her go.”
Moraa is just fresh from winning the 400m at the Botswana Golden Grand Prix where she obliterated a strong field to win and set a new Personal Best (PB) time of 50.43.

A much awaited clash with Jamaican Fraser-Price will not materialize in the Kenyan capital.
She was using the event to test her speed ahead of the Kip Keino Classic and believes she is in good shape to run an even faster time in Nairobi.
“My target is to run under two minutes because I have not been able to do that this season. After that, I will go to the Diamond League in Rabat,” she added.
“For the World Championships in Budapest, I want to prepare well, listen to my coach, and by the time we get to August, I will be ready because I want a podium finish.”
Meanwhile, Africa 1500m champion Abel Kipsang is also targeting a good time, seeking to run a world lead at the Kip Keino Classic.

“I ran 800m at the Botswana Grand Prix to test my speed because my target this time is to run a world lead since I am the defending champion,” said Kipsang. “In the World Championships, I will strive for gold and if it is too bad, then a podium finish.”
