Junelle Bromfield has posted a second empowering video on Instagram celebrating her natural beauty amidst ongoing cyberbullying and racial bias challenges.

Noah Lyles’ girlfriend Junelle Bromfield has responded to weeks of cyberbullying with a powerful message of self-love and acceptance on her Instagram page.

The 26-year-old Jamaican track star, who has faced severe criticism over her relationship with the American sprinter, showcased her natural beauty in a new video where she expressed her confidence and resilience.

The video, shared just days after Bromfield's open acknowledgment of color-based bias and harassment online, features her without wigs or heavy makeup, celebrating her "melanin glow."

Accompanied by Spice’s empowering anthem 'Mirror', Bromfield’s post was both a declaration of self-acceptance and a call to action against colorism particularly poignant following her experience at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

"I honestly thought we were past colorism in Jamaica especially as a nation that is filled with Black people," Bromfield had stated in a previous post.

Bromfield’s relationship with Lyles has been in the public eye since they began dating in August 2022, and her recent post adds another layer to the narrative of her career and personal life.

Despite her achievements, including a silver medal at the 2022 World Championships and a bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the 4x400m relay, her personal life has unfortunately attracted unwelcome scrutiny and hostility.

In her latest Instagram video, Bromfield chose to focus on positivity and empowerment.

"Black is beautiful, that’s facts. Black sensation from the Black nation. Black generation, admiration. I am a proud representation," the lyrics of the song 'Mirror' resonate with her message of embracing one’s identity proudly and defiantly.

"I could go off ranting but I'm just here to tell all the girls/women on my profile that you're beautiful no matter your shade, shape or size, and for the little Black girls don't wait on anybody to tell you that you're beautiful to believe it," Bromfield expressed in her previous post.
