Former world champion Fred Kerley also tags Noah Lyles as arrogant and cocky, backing his brother Letsile Tebogo on the statement made after the Paris Olympics.

Despite being an American track star, Paris Olympics 100m bronze medallist Fred Kerley shares similar sentiments with his 'bestie' Letsile Tebogo in calling his countryman Noah Lyles arrogant and cocky.

Kerley made his feelings known in NETFLIX Sprint Season 2, where the trio were featured as part of the stars for the groundbreaking docuseries.

The World Athletics in partnership with NETFLIX released an epic trailer for SPRINT 2 set to be released on November 13, and the preview is already receiving wild acclamations from track fans globally.

In the short trailer with part of it encompassing preparations before the Paris Olympics 100m final, the sprint stars were captured unwrapping their thoughts before the race.

While Tebogo focused on himself with a confident response - "It's now or never, there's no turning back", Kerley shared his thoughts on what he thinks of his countryman - "Noah's is cocky, arrogant, all that."

Consequently, Lyles stationed his response on his psychological gimmicks to rattle his rivals - "I'm the fastest and I got the medal to prove it. Everybody got a chance...to get second."

Kerley's sentiment on Lyles backs Tebogo's statement after the Motswana speed king won the Olympic 200m gold medal in Paris and was questioned whether he fancies himself as the face of athletics.

"I think for me I can't be the face of athletics because I'm not an arrogant or a loud person like Noah, so I believe Noah is the face of athletics."

When Lyles responded to Tebogo's claims, he gave the notion that he's mostly misunderstood and not arrogant.

Meanwhile, SPRINT 2 will feature a host of Paris Olympics medallists such as Julien Alfred, Gabby Thomas, and Melissa Jefferson. Notably missing are women's world 100m champion Sha'Carri Richardson, and Jamaican legends Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Elaine Thompson-Herah, who were star features in season one.

Julien Alfred is one of the star sprinters featured for SPRINT 2

The first season premiered in July 2024, and followed some of the world's top sprinters last year, culminating at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest.

With season 2 announced before the series premiered, the production team filmed the featured stars at Diamond League meets, national championships, and captured all of the action at the Paris Olympics.
