Noah Kibet, 19, has explained how training in Kenya bore no fruits in his career and opened up on relocating to the US in search of greener pastures.
Former World Under-20 800m bronze medallist Noah Kibet is on a journey of redemption as he seeks to make a name for himself at a tender age.
Kibet made headlines in 2021 after bagging a bronze medal in the 800m and proceeded to win the Kip Keino Classic later that year.
In 2022, he failed to make an impact at the World Under-20 Championships in Cali, Colombia but he bagged a silver medal in the indoor championship competing in the 800m short track race.

Vincent Keter has admitted that his fear is gone after debuting at the senior level at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.
Concerned fans began inquiring about what was hindering the youngster from performing at peak levels in 2023 after he shot to global stardom in 2021.
During a recent interview, Kibet disclosed that he had to relocate to the US in search of greener pastures since he felt like his training in Kenya was not progressing well.

“I did an analysis on myself and I’m still very young and in Kenya, I felt like my training was not going on well. I always did hard training every day and I would get tired a lot.
“I want to run for long so I wanted to get a good coach who would train me well and I would be strong so I can succeed in my life and nurture my talent.
“I spoke to my agent and he connected me to the boss of Nike who brought me to Oregon and I was training with a team,” Kibet said.
Kibet admitted that he started training alongside Donavan Brazier who unfortunately suffered an injury setback and could not train with the team again.
