Noah Lyles shared a photo of 'My House' after winning the 60m event at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix and it may have reignited his rivalry with Trayvon Bromell.

Having had a fantastic start to the 2024 season, reigning world's fastest man Noah Lyles is now comfortable doing more for the rest of the year and has taken time to share a photo of 'His House' in Boston.

Lyles won the men's 60m event in a world-leading, personal best of 6.44s at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix last weekend. By doing this, he edged Jamaica's speedster Ackeem Blake in 6.45s and former world indoor bronze medallist Ronnie Baker in 6.54s.

Noah Lyles makes bold claims ahead of Paris Olympic Games

After the race, the triple world champion in Budapest made an ambitious statement warning his rivals: "I don't care who wants them, they're mine" - a reference to going for another triple gold medal at the Paris Olympic Games.

Backing this up that he wasn't stuttering when it was said, Lyles then posted on his Instagram page his clear ambitions in Paris, "Another 3 peat, @olympics get ready!," he wrote.

And then via his X page, he posted a picture of the New Balance THE TRACK multi-purpose facility stadium in Boston, calling it MY HOUSE - a reference to being unbeaten at the stadium and his feud with compatriot Trayvon Bromell.

At the 2023 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, Lyles stunned former world indoor champion Brommel to win the 60m event.

Despite being more of a 200m specialist, he blazed to a then massive Personal Best (PB) of 6.51s in the final. Though both clocked an identical time, Lyles got the win for a faster reaction time.

Lyles will later post on his social media platforms: "It is my house now", to which Bromell will respond on his Instagram page: "He said "this his house"?....Bet!"

In his next meet, Bromell will record the sixth fastest 60m time in world history at the Tiger Paw Invitational, clocking a PB of 6.46s in the semis and then a blistering 6.42s in the final.

The feud between the talented speedsters on who owns the 60m event is just getting started, as Bromell is yet to make his debut this season and how fast he'll run.

But one thing is sure; they're giving the indoor season a facelift as they're backing their words with actions. And the rivalry is good for the sport.
