Sha'Carri Richardson wins 2023 Female Athlete of the Year at USATF Awards
Sha'Carri Richardson won her first major award of the year at the USATF Awards for her outstanding 2023 season.
His ability to excel from the 60m to the 200m, proved to many that Lyles is not solely a 200m specialist. In six days in Budapest, he added three world titles to his already impressive resume to become a six-time world champion at the age of 26.
Lyles became the third American man in history to complete a sprint triple and join the ranks of Tyson Gay and Maurice Greene. He clocked a 9.83s to win the 100m, followed by a 19.52s for gold in the 200m - his third straight in the event, and anchored the US 4x100m team to gold in a world-leading 37.38s for triple the glory.
