Noah Lyles will celebrate his homecoming with a rally at his former high after his double medal scoop at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Triple world 200m champion Noah Lyles will celebrate his homecoming at his former High School after etching his name into history by securing gold medal in the men’s 100m event and earning bronze in 200m.

Alexandria City High School, formerly TC Williams High School, where Lyles honed his skills, will play host to their former student and Olympic hero at the School’s Gymnasium on Sunday, September 22.

Lyles took to his Instagram and X pages to share the news of his homecoming with the caption reading, “DMV I’m coming home! See you September 22.”

The American sprinter made history by securing gold in a fiercely contested men’s final 100m race at the 2024 Paris Olympics, besting Jamaican sprinter Kishane Thompson by milliseconds, as they both clocked a finishing time of 9.79 seconds

Lyles, however, came up short in the men’s 200m final race, placing third behind Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo and countryman Kenneth Bednarek, in what most would consider his specialty.

The homecoming at his former High School will especially be emotional for Lyles who recently opened up about the death of his former High School coach, Rashawn Jackson, who passed away earlier this year.

Lyles is also scheduled to hold a rally celebration at Chinquapin Park, Alexandria on the same day.
