Noah Lyles has disclosed the final event he will compete in before heading to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Triple World champion Noah Lyles is elated about his return to the Diamond League Meeting in London scheduled for Saturday, July 20.
Lyles will return to the capital of England and this time around, he will compete in the men’s 100m at the London Stadium. He hopes the meet will be a great avenue to test his body ahead of the Olympic Games which are scheduled for Friday, July 26 to Sunday, August 11 in Paris, France.
The American won a hattrick of gold medals at last year’s World Athletics Championships in Budapest, winning the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay, and he now has eyes set on a quadruple at the Olympics.

Last year, Lyles ran one of the fastest 200m in history, clocking 19.47 to cross the finish line. The time was the quickest in 2023 and set him up for his trio of world titles in Budapest just one month later.
“Last year was my first time competing in London and to run such a fast time was a great experience. The atmosphere in the London Stadium was incredible and I could feel the energy coming from the crowd.
“I always want to give something special to all those who come out to see us, and I look forward to doing that at this year’s Diamond League event in July,” Lyles said.
