Lyles posted a video on his X (Twitter) handle, sharing a snippet of his training routine, and a fan, Leon Hutchings commented warning the athlete not to invest time in lifting heavy weights.

Lyles noticed the comment, shared his thoughts on what the fan said, and advised other athletes on how to respond to such fans.
“To every athlete worried about what people say about them just remember they can’t tell you what workout you did yesterday. So, they can’t tell you if you are getting better or not,” Lyles said.
Other X users seemed to agree with what Lyles said, with one user, Tymaris Odoms saying: “People think just because they go to the gym they can tell pro athletes how to train.”
