Ferdinand Omanyala’s fiancée Laventa Amutavi has come out of injury to finish an impressive second in the ongoing National Championships at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Amutavi revealed that she has been battling a series of injuries that have slowed her down this season but she is slowly bouncing back.

“I think my body is responding well…I have been through a lot this season. I have been battling a bout of injuries and bouncing back hasn’t been easy.
Coming here and running a fast time isn’t something I take for granted. I got close to my Personal Best time so for my first race, I’m glad,” she told Pulse Sports.
She added that her main target in the National event is to get to the final and be among the top three finishers. The semi-finals are slated for Friday while the final will be on Sunday.
The mother of one also urged the fans to come through and offer support to her as she competes.
