Hall set a new world lead with his dominating performance in the 400m of the Monaco Diamond League.
American sprint sensation Quincy Hall has proven he is on course to win gold in the 400 meters at the upcoming Paris Olympic Games after setting a new world lead of 43.80.
Hall, who won the USATF Olympic trials in the category, crossed the finish line ahead of fellow American Vernon Norwood, who also recorded a seasonal best of 44.34. Lythe Pille of South Africa completed the podium.
“There was no any difference in today's and any other race. I knew I can run fast,” Hall stated after the race.

“After American trials I knew I needed to step up my game a little bit and that it would be enough to run this fast.”
