Reigning World Under-20 1500m champion Reynold Kipkorir has opened up on making a switch from the 5000m to 1500m and why he chose to compete in the 2km mixed relay at this year’s World Cross Country Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.
During last year’s edition of the cross country, Kipkorir finished second in the men’s under-20 category behind Ishmael Kipkurui who will be competing in the senior men’s race alongside Sabastian Sawe and Nicholas Kipkorir among others.

ATHLETICS Why Faith Kipyegon, Sha'Carri Richardson and other top stars will miss the 2024 Kip Keino Classic
Here is why quality athletes like double world record holder Faith Kipyegon, and world 100m champion Sha'Carri Richardson will miss the Kip Keino Classic.

Kipkorir explained that they have to defend the title that was won by the team of Mirriam Cherop, Kyumbe Munguti, Emmanuel Wanyonyi, and the now-banned Brenda Chebet.
