Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles has fired back at YouTuber IShowSpeed over his pleas for a rematch, telling the content creator to meet him at the LA 2028 Olympics.
Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles has reignited his war of words with YouTube sensation IShowSpeed after telling him to meet him at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Lyles, who had a showdown race with the YouTuber last month, beating him in a 50m dash to claim the $100,000 that was on offer, has turned down the content creator’s pleas for a rematch, saying he would like to race someone else.
However, Speed has consistently had a go at Lyles and on Tuesday, he claimed the sprinter’s win was a fluke since he claimed he was at 20 percent when beating him.

'A lot of people were relying on me'- Letsile Tebogo on the pressure he had the night before 200m Olympic final
Letsile Tebogo has detailed why it was kind of mandatory for him to win the 200m Olympic title in Paris.
“Look at his face, and you are telling me he was going 20 percent? Bro, if you are going 20 percent you don’t look like this (serious face), if you are going 20 percent you are like (smiley face),” Speed said in reference to the race in which he lost to Lyles. “He was not going 20 percent,” he added.
Lyles did not take it kindly, firing back at the YouTuber by telling him to meet him at the next Olympics if he is serious about racing him.
“Just remember the Olympics standard is 10.00 see you in LA,” Lyles replied, accompanying the post with a laugh emoji.
Lyles turned down another opportunity to race Speed this week after telling him that he was “moving on to bigger and better things,” adding, “Let’s find somebody faster,” comments that the content creator has not taken kindly.
The world 100m and 200m champion is back in training as he prepares for the 2025 season where he intends to defend his titles at next year’s World Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
