Sha'Carri Richardson and Shericka Jackson's moment after the 200m final in Budapest, has put them on the nominee list for the World Athletics Fair Play Award.
Track stars Sha'Carri Richardson and Shericka Jackson are nominated for the World Athletics Fair Play Award for showing mutual respect to each other after the 200m final at the World Championships in Budapest.
Jackson won the 200m world title in a blistering Championship Record of 21.41s (the second-fastest time in history), so after crossing the finish line still on the track and trying to catch her breath, Richardson was the first to hug and congratulate her - a beautiful moment rarely seen between an American and Jamaican athlete.
The American claimed the bronze medal in a lifetime best of 21.92s, thus adding another medal to her 100m gold to become the world's fastest woman.
Both ladies will later anchor their countries to the 4x100m relay gold and silver medals, with Richardson leading the way ahead of Jackson.
