Sha'Carri Richardson has seen no other person to take advice from at being a better 200m runner than from the current best in the event - Noah Lyles.

World's fastest woman Sha'Carri Richardson has seen the need to get faster in the 200m events and looks to have taken advice from the current best in the event - Noah Lyles.

In the new Sprint docuseries on Netflix, Richardson was captured in Episode 6 watching Lyles's semifinal race, where he won conveniently in 19.75s despite having an accident on his way, which involved the collision of two carts taking the athletes to the stadium in a scary moment.

With pressure on whether he would still be able to perform after such a mental breakdown moment, Lyles still delivered without any iota of fear or stress.

"I need some advice. I don't know how he keeps doing that," said Richardson.

It seems she did get the advice as the 24-year-old will go on to win a bronze medal in the 200m final, clocking a Personal Best (PB) of 21.92s behind Shericka Jackson's record-breaking 21.41s and Gabby Thomas with the silver medal.

Lyles also won the 200m title, adding to his 100m gold medal and becoming the third American sprinter in history to achieve such a feat.

Meanwhile, Richardson failed to make the Olympic team to Paris 2024 in the 200m after finishing fourth at the US trials behind Gabby Thomas, Brittany Brown, and McKenzie Long.

However, she qualified in the 100m by winning the event in a blistering world-leading time of 10.71s and remains the favourite to beat in Paris.

Lyles qualified by winning the 100m and 200m at the US trials to strengthen his claim of doing the Olympic double at the Games.
