Three-time Olympic champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has opened her season with a stunning win at the French Foray #3 at the National Stadium in Jamaica.
Her season opener was one of the most anticipated and fans can now sigh in relief since she has confirmed to be in the game, winning the 100m and clocking 11.15 to cross the finish line. Jodean Williams and Sabrina Dockery finished second and third in respective times of 11.20 and 11.46.
Fraser-Pryce was out of the blocks stunningly as she polished her top end speed but the time posted is quite slow considering the season is slowly taking shape ahead of the Olympics.

Jamaican sprint queen Elaine Thompson-Herah has reacted to her injury setback during the New York City Grand Prix.
The 37-year-old is tuning herself for the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) national championships that will be held June 27-30 with the results from the championship to be used to select the team for the Olympic Games in Paris later this year.

The Jamaican sprint queen had a tough season last year following her injury woes that saw her end her season at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
The 10-time world champion also started her season late, competing in two races before the World Championships where she finished third in the 100m race that was won by American sprint queen Sha’Carri Richardson with Shericka Jackson finishing second.
Fraser-Pryce also competed in the relay, where her team managed to bag a silver medal, with the race being won by team USA.
This season, she declared to hang her boots after the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and she will certainly be out to have a good exit from the sport. Fraser-Pryce noted that she wants time to spend with her family.
