Shericka Jackson believes she can break the women's 100m World Record of 10.49s, speaking in a press conference ahead of the Silesia Diamond League.
Newly crowned Jamaica's double sprints champion Shericka Jackson believes breaking Flo Jo's women's 100m World Record of 10.49s is possible.
Jackson, who clocked a massive world lead and Personal Best (PB) of 10.65s to win the Jamaican title and move fifth on the all-time list, thinks anything is possible concerning breaking the WR.
"I think anything is possible. For me, I don't limit what I'm capable of, not because I just started sprinting probably two years ago. I think I'm capable of anything, and as I said once coach and I work on the weak parts and continue to maintain the strong parts," Jackson said in the press conference ahead of the Silesia Diamond League.
The world silver medallist in the event will face US champion Sha'Carri Richardson in Silesia, who is also in the best form of her life and has already defeated Jackson once this season at the Doha Diamond League.
The Silesia track is known to be very fast, so with Jackson and Richardson running for a famous victory and bragging rights for their various countries, the WR is under threat, and 'Anything is Possible'.
