On Sunday night, Moraa became the third Kenyan woman to win a gold medal in the 800m. Janeth Jepkosgei won the first medal in 2007 before Eunice Sum won it in 2013. Moraa acknowledged the love of her life for being an integral part of her milestones.
Some parts of her post on her Facebook page said: "It has been a good journey so far. I wouldn't have succeeded were it not for the midas touch of my coach Alex Sang aka Kipkosang Alhiandro. His patience and wisdom are unmatched.

Sometime back on June 15, Moraa also took to her Facebook page to appreciate the mysterious Mr. Gege as she celebrated her birthday.
