Lyles and his Jamaican girlfriend Bromfield have rocked the track world this season, from attending track meets together, to doing social media challenges, appearing at influential events, and jetting out on luxurious trips, they have kept up the track spice for fans' attention.

Their performances are also evident on the track as both qualified and competed at the Paris Olympics. When Lyles blazed to the Olympic 100m gold medal, his first instinct of celebration was running into the arms of his girlfriend who cheered on from the stands even though he defeated her countryman Kishane Thompson.

The charismatic couple won gold medals in their various events, first Tara soaring to the women's long jump title during the Olympics, and her husband, a US double amputee sprinter propelled his prosthetic blades to Paralympic gold in the T62 400m.

It was the first Olympic and Paralympic titles in the Woodhall's careers - after Hunter won a bronze medal in the one-lap event at the Tokyo Games three years ago. As soon as he crossed the line on Friday, September 6 Hunter ran to his wife's trackside, just as she had done in a picture that went viral after her Olympic triumph on August 8.

Hunter was born with a fused right ankle and fibular hemimelia in his left leg. At 11 months old both his legs were amputated below the knee. The couple met at an indoor athletics meeting in Idaho in 2017. He was leaving the track when Tara walked over and said, “I don’t know why, but I just feel like I need to give you a hug.”

They exchanged messages on social media and met again a few months later and “started talking, non-stop,” Tara said in a YouTube video. They kept up a long-distance relationship while both attended different universities but they married in 2022 — and now they are inseparable.
