Usheoritse Itsekiri can't stop winning as he successfully retained his 60m title at the USports Indoor Championships.

Usheoritse Itsekiri extended his unbeaten streak in the Canadian collegiate circuit by successfully retaining his 60m title at the USports Indoor Championships.

The University of Regina graduate student overcame the challenge posed by Waterloo's Immanuel Onyemah, clocking a Personal Best (PB) of 6.61s, which lowered his previous School Record (SR) of 6.62s.

Onyemah, settling for silver, sped to a PB of 6.67s, and Itsekiri's teammate Storm Zablocki won bronze in a PB of 6.71s for third.

Itsekiri and Zablocki will later inspire their team to win the 4x200m gold medal, making it two gold medals for the Tokyo Olympian at the championships.

The Nigerian has remained undefeated in the Canadian collegiate circle since his move in January 2021, which makes him one of the best sprinters in the history of the North-American college system.
