The 2023 Wanda Diamond League continues in Stockholm on Sunday night when Commonwealth Games 5000m champion Beatrice Chebet takes on a strong field in the women’s 5000m race.
Chebet goes into the race after a successful outing during the National Championships where she won the 1500m. She will be using the race as a build-up ahead of the World Championships national trials scheduled for next weekend.

World 10,000m bronze medallist Margaret Chelimo sealed the podium in 8:26.14.
World and Olympic champion Emmanuel Korir will also be in action in the 800m and will be campaigning for his first win since he started the Diamond League Meetings.
Also, in the mix will be Karsten Warholm, Valarie Allman, Gianmarco Tamberi, Tobi Amusan, Dina Asher-Smith, and Marie-Josee Ta Lou.
The action will start at 6:15 p.m. East African Time with the women's discus and the main programme will kick off at 7:00 p.m. EAT with the men's 400m. The women's 5000m will start at 7:36 p.m. while the men's 800m race will be at 8:52 p.m.
The meeting will be streamed in a number of territories on the Wanda Diamond League YouTube page from 7:00 p.m. EAT. World Athletics noted that the live stream will not be available in all territories.
