The Wanda Diamond League kicks off in Xiamen, featuring top global athletes in various track and field events on Saturday.

The Wanda Diamond League returns this weekend with the season opener set to take place on Saturday, April 20 in Xiamen, China.

This event marks a significant moment in the track and field calendar, bringing together a host of world record-holders, Olympic gold medallists, and world champions eager to kick off their outdoor seasons.

Athletics enthusiasts can look forward to a thrilling day of competitions beginning at 12:25 EAT with the women's 5,000m. 

The main broadcast, however, will commence at 2:04 pm EAT starting with the women's 400m. The lineup promises to deliver high stakes and fierce competition across a variety of disciplines.

Highlighting the men's track events, the 100m dash will see a spectacular clash of titans with 2019 World champion Christian Coleman and 2022 World champion Fred Kerley. 

The women's 100m hurdles will not be left behind in terms of excitement, featuring stellar athletes such as Olympic gold medalist Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, 2022 World champion Tobi Amusan, and 2023 World champion Danielle Williams.
