Kinyamal started off his season at the second Athletics Kenya meet.
Two-time Commonwealth Games 800m champion Wycliffe Kinyamal will be competing at the Diamond League Meeting in Rabat, Morocco on Sunday, May 28.
Kinyamal revealed this during a post-race interview at the just-concluded Kip Keino Classic where he settled for second place over the 800m.

Among the trio, Kinyamal is the fastest in the field with a Personal Best of 1:43.12.
The 25-year-old noted that going for the event will be key in ensuring he is physically fit and ready before the World Championships on August 19-27 in Budapest, Hungary.
“My next race is the Diamond League in Rabat and I expect to do well. My main goal this year is the World Championships where I also expect to do well,” Kinyamal said.
The qualifying time for the men’s 800m at the World Championships currently stands at 1:44.70 and where he stands, Kinyamal has already qualified for the event after clocking 1:43.66 at the Kip Keino Classic.

ATHLETICS Kinyamal using Athletics Kenya meets as audition for World Championships
The 25-year-old bagged the 800m title in the second Athletics Kenya meet.
At the Kip Keino Classic, he was edged out by youngster Emmanuel Wanyonyi who won the race in a world lead time of 1:43.32. 2019 world 1500m champion Timothy Cheruiyot finished third in 1:44.99.
However, Kinyamal is not shaken by such and he believes there are more good things coming his way.
